Former Miss World Diana Hayden is to play the glamorous lead role in an upcoming Bollywood venture -- "Adaa - Will Kill U".
As the title suggests, "Adaa" is all about style with dollops of suspense and sensuality thrown in for added attraction, with Diana playing the lead opposite the tall and handsome Rajeev Singh, who won Manhunt International in 2001.
According to director Ajeet Sinha: "'Adaa' has everything that the audience of today is looking for -- a bold theme, glamour and an aesthetic presentation of beauty which shall evoke desire but will not be vulgar."
Other actors in the film are Vasundhara Das, Gulshan Grover and Viswajeet Pradhan. Reshmi Ghosh, a former Miss India is there in a special role.
Singer-actor Vasundhara is excited about the project. "This is my first official Bollywood film," she said.
"Though my singing career is going great guns with a national award for 'Shaka laka baby' and 'It's the time to disco', my acting career has been static. I hope to do well with 'Adaa'."
Vasundhara plays wife to Rajeev Singh in the film.
The film was launched with the recording of three songs with music by Jaideep Chaudhary. Shooting for "Adaa" begins Oct 25.
While the director and lead actors refused to reveal the story, the film is reported to have a liberal sprinkling of "bold scenes".
