Sex and sleaze is the buzzword in Bollywood. Here comes another film that promises style, suspense and bold roles from former Miss World Diana Hayden and singer-actress Vasundhara Das.

"Adaa has everything that the audience of today is looking for - a bold theme, glamour and an aesthetic presentation of beauty that shall evoke desire but will not be vulgar," says director Ajeet Sinha.

Sinha's Adaa - Will Kill U also features Rajeev Singh, the first Asian Mr World. The other lead artistes in the film are Gulshan Grover and Viswajeet Pradhan. Former beauty queen Reshmi Ghosh will also be seen in Adaa in a special role.

Vasundhara is excited about the film and said, "this is my first official Bollywood film".

"Although my singing career is going great guns with a National Award for Shaka laka baby and It's The Time To Disco, my acting career has been static."

"Being sensuous is not vulgar and I trust the director completely. I'm playing the wife of the hero Rajeev Singh. How do you think a husband and wife should behave with each other?" replies Vasundhara when asked about her scenes with the hero.

When asked about bold scenes in his film, director Sinha said: "Cinema is just a reflection of society. We have programmes like Wild On on TV. We have young girls dressed up in tank tops and jogging shorts walking in the streets. So what is wrong if the heroine of our films wears something similar?"

Anoop Srivastava and Dhirendra Jain are producing the film. The music is by Jaideep Chaudhary. Adaa goes on the floor on Oct 25.
