Popular singer Muhammad Ovez Sabri, better known as Toshi Sabri, met with a critical accident with his whole group while coming way back from Shirdi to Nashik recently.

The whole band was returning from their show from Shirdi and the accident toke place at Nashik- Pune highway after their car collided with a truck.

A band member Aatik lost his life in the accident. Toshi is also in very critical situation, said his friend Rajesh Banga.

He, along with other band members, has been admitted to Nashik's Wockhardt hospital.

"Toshi will undergo a major operation and then only doctors will be able to say anything about his condition, " Banga said.

The driver is safe and another team member's spinal cord has been damaged. Toshi shot to fame with reality show Star Voice of India.
