They say people who throw kisses are hopelessly lazy and Mallika Sherawat is definitely not the one. When it comes to the kissing the jat-girl just fires up the silver screen with her customary gung-ho zeal although her real-life lip-locks have not been so rosy.
Reminiscing her first kiss she says, "The smell of raw onions has scarred me for life. I think I'll have to find myself a vegetarian, no onions, no garlic, non-smoking dude. Bad breath in a guy is frightening. It was but certainly not the like I shoot."
However her reel lip-locks are still giving the severe heartburn to geriatrics but Mallika, for the rebel she is, relishes every moment of her feisty antics. From her 17 infamous 'Khwahish' kisses to 'Kis Kis Ki Kismat', Censor board has been working extra time whenever Mallika comes calling.
No wonder, they tried their best to clip her latest Marliyn Monroesque skirt, which gave the best view of what lies beneath.
"We have our objection about the way she projects herself," says one of the board member.
But Sherawat counters this personal attack by saying, "The minute they hear my name, something happens. Yeah, my skirt does fly up in a shot but then, so does Anna Kournikova's whenever she plays the backhand. I've heard that women's tennis matches have to be censored too, from now on! And why do they allow those Sadhus who take a dip naked in the river during the Kumbh mela. I just can't understand this attitude."
Apart from the regular body show 'Kis Kis Ki Kismat' is also being projected as a jat-flick as Dharam Garam teams up with Mallika for this Govind Memon comedy.
"Jab do Jat mil jate hain to set par aag lag jati hai," laughs Mallika.
"This is a comedy and though it's not easy to make people laugh and look sexy at the same time, I've had fun. After all, I am a 'Haryanavi'. There is some bit of it in my head which I usually keep well hidden but Dharamji brought it out in me," she adds.
