Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actor who has gone though a long struggle period to make it big in tinsel town is actually born with a golden spoon in her mouth.

Reportedly, the actresses hails from a big joint family in Himachal Pradesh. Her great grandfather was a head clerk under the British government but he had left the job to join in for the freedom movement under Mahatma Gandhi.

Kangana's dad is a business man. He has a very well established business in Himachal. Her family home is a huge mansion and she always had a few cars at her disposal whenever she wanted to travel. This hot gal who had created quite a sensation in the film Life in a Metro, was not at all supported by her family when she wanted to join the film industry.

According to reports, the popular actresses of today had faced quite an opposition from her family when she had voiced her wish to join the film industry. It was her grandfather who was not quite pleased with the idea. Even her parents were against her decision. Thus, Kangana had to set off to Mumbai to pursue her dreams.

After having spent quite some time in a popular Mumbai hostel, where she shared a room with three other girls, she finally got her break with Madhur Bhandarkar's Life in a Metro. It was only then that her family accepted that Kangana was very keen in taking her career in Bollywood seriously.

Well, this gal who was literally born with a golden spoon in her mouth has proved that life in a Metro. . . is not that easy.
