Already flourishing in nearly two dozen locations in India, the eating chain with the distinct Kapoor touch will now be launched in three overseas destinations with a large Indian population - Nepal, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
On Monday, Kapoor, chef extraordinaire, cook book author and the host of a cookery show on Indian TV that has been running for 14 years, wrote in his blog that he was flying to Kathmandu the day after to fine-tune the launch of his new restaurant in Kathmandu in March.
To be located at the Blue Bird Mall in Kathamandu's Tripureshwor, which already boasts of a food court and several small restaurants in the neighbourhood, The Yellow Chilli restaurant will strengthen Indo-Nepal ties as food speaks the universal language of love, Kapoor wrote.
The Nepal venture is in association with Herbs and Spice Foods Private Ltd.
