Veteran actor Dharmendra, who is returning to the big screen after three years with "Yamla Pagla Deewana", says unlike older times, today everyone has to boast about oneself to get success.

"Promotions are a part of our profession nowadays. In earlier times we were not required to do all this. Nowadays you have to blow your own trumpet, " Dharmendra told.

"My heart keeps asking why are you doing what you never used to do, but my mind tells me that this is a trend so you have to do it. Today, the scenario is that more you are seen, more you are valued. So I'm also following that path, " he added.

The film is slated for a Jan 14 release.
