His directorial debut "Hide & Seek" might have been a horror outing about friends trapped in a house but Shawn Arranha has now moved on to a romcom.

"I am writing a romcom and I'm in talks with actors and producers. Negotiations are going on. It will be a totally different version of romcom and not the usual style, " Arranha told.

"I have also come across a different gadget and a new technology with a new camera Canon 50D. So I'm trying to bring that too into India with my film, " added the director, who used a "claustrophobic technique" in "Hide & Seek" that injects audiences with a feeling that they are entrapped in a cube with no escape.
