Producer Tutu Sharma's much-awaited "Paanch", which will mark the debut of director Anurag Kashyap and actress Tejaswini Kolhapure, will be released in December.

"The film has had several problems - with the censors and the distributors - and that has delayed its release," said Sharma.

"But now I have tied up with a nationwide chain of distributors. I will also release my other production - 'Khullam Khulla Pyar Karenge'."

A formal announcement will be made next week.

"Paanch" was cleared by the Film Appellate Tribunal after the censor board refused to grant it certification on the ground that it showed crime in graphic detail and glorified violence.

The film was in great demand in the international market where it was screened to foreign distributors and its trials won good feedback.
