Director Tanuja Chandra is all set to start work on her next project, "Hope and a little Sugar", an intense film in English set against the backdrop of the post 9/11 phase.
The film, to be made with American collaboration, will be shot entirely in New York, Tanuja Chandra said, reports Bollywood Trade.
"It's a company in New York which is producing it with Indian partners. The film tells the sensitive story of how 9/11 affected the lives of ordinary people who had nothing to
do with it. It will be shot with Indian characters," Tanuja said.
"Since the film is not affiliated to any studio, one can afford to be off-beat," she explained. She is enjoying the scripting sessions on the net, where the entire concept and
parts of the script were initially approved.
"I would say that the film has progressed on the Internet so far. I signed the film on the Internet and even the script approvals have been taking place on the net. I'll be
finalising the cast and leaving for the shoot," she said.
