Vishal Dandlani, of popular musician duo Vishal-Shekhar, is planning to auction off his trophies.

"I'm thinking of auctioning all my awards off for charity. Kids need education, I need the space cleared. Everybody wins. Any buyers?" Vishal wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

"Don't get me wrong, I do respect the awards, and I am grateful. But if a statue can contribute to someone's life, that's good, right?"
