Vashu Bhagnani, producer of the forthcoming, "Vaada", which is slated for a Dec 24 release, is in no haste to strike a compromise with distributors over his film's
price.
"That's because it is a prized film, which deserves the price quoted. Only one who appreciates the project's value will understand that. Those who invest in it, will reap rich
dividends at the box-office," a confident Bhagnani told Bollywood Trade.
Bhagnani has quoted a price in the range of Rs.20 million ($443,000) for the Mumbai circuit. If he does not get that price, Bhagnani intends to release the film
himself.
"Vaada's" audio will be launched today on a cruise, with the entire cast and crew in attendance.
Bhagnani's other film, "Silsilein", directed by Khalid Mohammed, goes on the floor tomorrow.
