Television couple Debina Banerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary who have been dating for the past more than four years took their relationship to the next level and tied the knot in a private ceremony.

The couple, who acted as Ram and Sita in the serial "Ramayana", and later entered the reality show "Pati, Patni Aur Woh", opted for a registered marriage Tuesday in the presence of their family and a few very close friends.

"We are so very happy. So many years of togetherness culminating into a lifelong commitment. It's been a beautiful journey and will be yet more beautiful," Gurmeet said in a statement.
