Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation has partnered with the Marrow Donor Registry India to create a registry of marrow donors in India. It is now working with youngsters to create awareness.

One of the first colleges to participate in this initiative is the K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and IT, Sion, who as part of their annual college festival, Surge '11, will conduct a marrow donation drive along with 'Marrowthon' -- a run to support the cause. Surge '11 will be held from March 3 to 5.
