Music director Anu Malik is on cloud nine these days, the reason being the number of producers queuing up at his doorstep, reports Bollywood Trade.

But the one project he is truly excited about is Gurinder Chhada's next film, "Mistress Of Spices", which she is co-producing with husband Paul Mayeda Berges and Deepak Nayar.

"I wouldn't like to comment on the price though it is very promising but I am looking forward to composing the soundtrack for the English film, which will be a very unique one with Indian and international artistes," says Malik.

The other interesting news is that Malik has been approached for an interesting role in a film but he does not want to disclose the details yet.

"I have been asked not to reveal the news yet. Actually the filmmaker saw me in the programme, 'Indian Idol' on Sony and thought of a role that he has specially written for me," says Malik.
