Says a source, "Quite surprisingly actors who have been an essential part of SLB's cinema and have always been a part of his birthdays went missing this year.Hrithik with whom SLB shared a cordial relationship surprised the filmmaker by remembering his birthday with an expensive gift."

A beautiful Cartier watch with best wishes from Hrithik arrived at SLB's residence on his birthday.This was followed by a phonecall and a long warm conversation which ended with a promise to visit soon.

Deeply moved Sanjay Bhansali says, "Hrithik didn't have to do this.We shared a very comfortable working relationship during Guzaarish. Now when Guzaarish is over and there's no talk of another film with him, Hrithik has still kept in touch.That's very rare in this profession where relationships change every Friday."
