Tanishaa Mukerji turned a year older yesterday. Kajol's sister brought in her big day with mommy Tanuja and close friends at her Santa Cruz home.

A cake was cut at the stroke of midnight over emotional moments between mother and daughter.

She then spoke to her sister Kajol over the phone.

Tanishaa has made a promise that she will do some good work on the silver screen as well as off it -- by supporting the cause of under-privileged kids.
