Mukesh Khanna, the super hero of the hit children's television series "Shaktimaan", has launched a club
to help children develop their personality.
The actor launched the 'Shaktimaan Friends Club' Tuesday at a school in Dombivli in Maharashtra, a release
said.
He plans to take the club to Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and other cities and towns around the country.
Khanna, who has featured in the Wall Street Journal for his "positive influence on children", also runs
'Shaktimaan' merchandising.
He had received commendation letters from the prime minister and the external affairs minister, and also
planned to launch a 'Shaktimaan' video game, said the release.
