Anil Kapoor was conferred the title of Lalitha Kala Samrat at an event in Hyderabad recently and was felicitated by Union Minister for Rural Development Vilasrao Deshmukh and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his accomplishments.

Reminiscing about his debut in a Telugu film 30 years back, Kapoor stated that he stills feels attached to Telugu cinema. Maybe that garland they pinned him under had something to do with it.
