The choreographer-turned-director Remo d'Souza whose film F.A.L.T.U opened to a surprisingly receptive audience this Friday, suffered a serious burn injury on Saturday when a cracker burst in his right hand.
He was rushed to the hospital where after being attended he was considered out of danger.
Speaking on Sunday about the injury the softspoken Remo whose celebrations have been put on hold by this setback said, "It is pretty serious. My right hand is burnt. I will have to get the hand dressed at the hospital every day for some time. Luckily no permanent damage was done."
Remo was in a double-celebration mood when this injury happened. "We were getting such encouraging boxofffice reports and it was also my birthday on Saturday. We were bursting crackers and I burst one in my right hand by mistake. I guess God decided to let me feel some pain with the pleasure. But it turned out to be quite painful."
