Bollywood director seen at Maria Susairaj's home where she Allegedly killed Neeraj Grover, as part of research for his upcoming flick

Ram Gopal Varma whose next A Love Story starring Mahie Gill based on Maria Susairaj murder case was spotted at Dheeraj Solitaire, the location of the crime.

A source from the building revealed, "Yes. Ramu came a few days ago. He was very keen to see Maria's flat, where the crime was committed.

He obviously couldn't, as the court has sealed the flat. So he went to a similar flat on the upper floor. He was shocked to know that it was a small one BHK. He thought the flat must have been much bigger flat."

When contacted, Ramu confirmed the news. "Yes, I went to Maria's building."

He added after a pause, "It's like any other building in the city but just the fact that something as horrific happened there makes it look ominous. It's the psychological affect. It gives you goose pimples when you imagine Maria walking the road leading to that building."

"Since I couldn't see the actual flat I went to the flat above, which has a similar layout.

When I looked out of the window everything looked normal. But one incident changed the whole outlook towards that place. I am most surprised about the people living in the adjacent flats."

Acquaintances

Ramu also met people who have known Maria and Emile Jerome Matthew.

He said, "I met a lot of people and strangely they all have some sort of empathy towards them because they knew them as people. A person who reads about Maria will only judge her from that one incident.

But these people, who know her have a different perspective. I got more insights from these people and bizarrely all of them gave completely different versions."

Movie twists

So what version is his film based on? "There is no absolute truth. My point is not to tell the truth but to show the emotional state of a person who can do something as horrific as that.

Nobody is good or bad but it's the situation they are caught up in determines their actions. My objective is to capture Maria and Emily as people."

He also insists that his film is not based on the lives of Maria and Emily but loosely inspired.

"Sarkar was not a story of Bal Thackeray. He was just an inspiration. In the same way A Love Story is not the story of Maria and Emily. It's just inspired from the one incident that happened in their lives. Moreover the case is subjudice."

The film is set to go on floor by the end of the month and Ramu plans to release it by summer.

Deepak Dobriyal as Emily

Though Ramu didn't divulge on the male cast but according to our source he is planning to rope in Deepak Dobriyal for Emily Jerome's role, Maria's ex boyfriend who was the partner in crime. This is the first time Ramu will be working with Deepak who shot up to fame after his fine performance Omkara.
