The dismal performance of Game has given Abhishek Bachchan a wake-up call. After the release, the producers (Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and Junior B have been passing the buck around on why the film bombed.

A source reveals, "No one wants to take responsibility. But the fact is that neither Farhan nor Ritesh took any interest in promoting the film. Abhishek has realised that he can't bank on the studio or producer for publicity and has to do it himself."
