A year ago, it seemed music director Daboo Malik had settled down in Sohail Khan Productions for good after "Maine Dil Tujhko Diya" and "I - Proud To Be An Indian". But equations keep changing in the industry, and Malik was in for a surprise one day when he learnt that Sohail Khan had signed music director Preetam to do his next film "Fight Club", reports Bollywood Trade.

"But I have no grudge against anyone. It all depends from film to film," says Anu Malik's younger brother who prefers to keep a low profile and let his work speak for himself.

Daboo has now been signed by leading south Indian filmmaker K. Balakumar for three of his five Hindi films.
