His first film may have not performed well at the box-office, but actor Mahakshay Chakraborty a. k. a Mimoh seems to be putting in an extra effort to make his new 3-D film "Haunted" stand out.

The film's action director, Abbas Ali Moghul, was apprehensive about him performing the stunts and advised him to use a body double, but Mahakashay, son of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, refused.

"I have had an absolutely fantastic time shooting for this particular action sequence. Though I got few swellings, the entire chandelier shot, the entire effect came out beautifully, " said the young actor.

"In a particular sequence, a chandelier falls on Mimoh and he had to roll on the ground before the chandelier bursts beside him. We were little worried, but Mimoh decided to do it all by himself. Though everyone on the set suggested we use a body double, Mahakshay was very excited about doing it himself, " Abbas said

The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt and also stars newcomer Tia Bajpai.
