Advance booking for the Anil Kapoor-Sanjay Dutt starrer "Musafir" is just about average, reports Bollywood Trade.

"I guess the average response has a lot to do with the fact that the film has got an 'A' certificate and is an action film," says Neeraj Goswami of Fame Adlabs. Most exhibitors also feel that the average advance booking has a lot to do with the feel of the Sanjay Gupta film.

According to Adil from G-7, action films have a limited audience these days unless they have something really interesting to offer. But Mumbai distributor of the film, Raju Shah, says advance booking should not be taken as an indicator for the opening response. "A majority of films don't get an advance booking these days. It is the current booking which finally decides the response, unless it is a film like 'Veer-Zaara'."
