Shahid Kapoor turns down big money to dance at a private function in London for the Mittals

Shahid Kapoor has turned down a princely sum of Rs15 crore to dance at a private birthday party in London for steel billionaire Lakshmi Niwas Mittal's wife Usha.

Says a source, "The Mittals only wanted Shasha as the family is a fan of the Chance Pe Dance star. They offered a whopping amount that Kapoor refused without a moment's hesitation."

The offer came through the Morani Brothers Karim and Ali who manage Shasha's events. They tried their darndest to convince the actor to change his mind.

Says the source, "It's a known fact that unlike other big stars, Shahid doesn't dance for private functions. People close to him advised him to treat this as a special case. But he didn't budge."

Shahid refrained from comment. The Moranis, too, chose to remain silent.
