Josh Hartnett has split with his girlfriend. Is the road clear for Bips now?

Now that Singularity lead actors Josh Hartnett and Bipasha Basu are single, they just might hook up.

Josh Hartnett recently broke up with his Norwegian model girlfriend Sophia Lie, reports the Dutch press.

The couple parted ways because Josh wanted to settle down while Lie was not ready.

The Singularity co-stars set a lot of tongues wagging because of their closeness.

With Josh officially single and back on the market, Bips has no qualms about spending time with the actor.

A source reveals, "Josh and Sophia split up a while ago but were trying to make things work out. However, now they are done for good. It's interesting that he's become extremely close to Bips and talks fondly of her to all his friends.

In fact, Bips and Josh keep clicking pictures together and sending it to friends.

The two are young and good looking and their chemistry is amazing. In fact even though Bips is in Russia shooting for Players she's very much in touch with Josh through her phone."

Even though they were going strong as a couple, the local Dutch press reports that Sophia's fame in Europe came in the way of their romance.

However, sources from the sets of Singularity reveal that Josh has been confiding to friends that he's happy being single at the moment and wants to enjoy his newfound freedom.

"He might not get into another serious relationship for long. But that doesn't stop him from meeting or dating women."
