At a time when filmmakers are splurging money on their movies, Aamir Khan is concerned about the budget of his next production "Delhi Belly". The cost might touch Rs.25 crore, which the actor-filmmaker feels is high for an adult comedy.

"Its budget is on higher side. It would end somewhere between Rs.20 to Rs.25 crore, which doesn't include promotion. I am worried about that. We are trying to keep as low as possible right now," said Aamir.

This is not his first movie where the budget has shot up, says the 46-year-old who has produced films like "Laagan", "Taare Zameen Par" and "Peepli Live".

"All my films have gone over budget to different degrees. I feel I am not a hardcore producer who fixes budgets before starting a film and no-matter what, he makes sure he doesn't have to spend a penny more. I am more of a creative person. It happens with all my films. For one reason or the other, it always exceeds the stipulated budget," said Aamir.

The adult comedy, which Aamir feels will mar his reputation as a family filmmaker, is directed by Abhinay Deo who roped in Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor to tell this funny story.

The release date of "Delhi Belly" is July 1 and it is clashing with megastar Amitabh Bachchan's "Bbuddah... Hoga Tera Baap", but that won't affect business, said Aamir.

"I think this is not new. Two big films have released together previously too. 'Dil' and 'Ghayal' came together. 'Welcome' and 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Laagan' and 'Gadar' there are so many examples like it. I don't think it matters.

"If your film is good, audiences will love to see your film. If your film is not good, then no way you can draw audience. So, I don't think it matters. We have place for two films in our theatres now," said Aamir.
