Vikram Bhatt is currently into past-life regression. He is curiously reading everything he can lay his hands on for his next project Dangerous Ishq that takes on the subject to unravel the bygone.
The film is being penned by his last release, Haunted's writer, Amin Hajee (who is a close buddy of Aamir Khan). Bhatt is the co-writer. The film is in pre-production and is slated to roll by July-August.
Before starting on Shaapith, Bhatt had done a course in psychic meditation as the film dealt with spirits. Similarly, for Dangerous Ishq, he is researching the subject of past life regression which he finds fascinating.
After a string of horror films (Raaz, 1920, Shaapith and Haunted) the filmmaker now delves into the realm of 3D. He plans to make a trilogy of 3D movies, Dangerous Ishq being the second in the series.
Even though the filmmaker has worked with new faces in his last few projects, he plans to cast starry names for his next. "At this point, I aspire to have known faces in the movie. Let's hope that works, " he says.
Bhatt plans to shoot the film in Rajasthan and New Delhi. Apart from past-life, the movie also takes on the subject of love and lust.
