The film will be tax-free in Delhi and Maharashtra

After going tax-free in Delhi, Stanley Ka Dabba is now expected to be granted exemption from entertainment tax in Maharashtra later this week.

Producer Fox Star and director Amole Gupte have big plans to broaden the film's reach.

Says Amole, "Children will return to school after the summer holidays in the first week of June. We're hoping to get them into theatres in large numbers.

With reduced ticket rates, we're hoping we can get schools en masse to watch Stanley Ka Dabba."

Meanwhile, Fox Star's Vijay Singh informs that 20 extra prints of SKD will soon hit Mumbai theatres, with more to follow.

Amole gratefully notes, "I only have Sheila Dixit in Delhi and Satvasheela Chauhan in Maharashtra to thank for the exemption. They just embraced the film.

In fact, Mrs Chauhan spoke to me on Saturday and said she would be happy to extend any kind of help that the film needs. I can't thank her enough."
