Rahul Bose is not very pleased with Vipul Shah, the producer of his upcoming film with Shefali Shah Kuch Love Jaisaa.
The actor, who plays a vital role in the film feels that he is being sidelined in the promotions of the movie and that Shefali, who is also Vipul's wife, is stealing all the limelight.
Attention problem
A source from the crew reveals, "Rahul who plays a criminal in the movie feels that very little attention has been paid to him as far as promotions are concerned. Also, the film is being promoted as a 'Shefali Shah film' and she is made to look like the hero."
"Shefali is playing a rebellious housewife in the movie. She is very excited about the film and is going all out to promote it. Rahul feels that Vipull is only promoting her in the film. His irritation seemed very obvious while Shefali was giving interviews at a recent promotional event."
Whose story?
Vipul Shah says, "I am surprised. Yes, we have begun our promotions with Shefali but that's because it is a story of Shefali's character. The idea wasn't to alienate anyone. Rahul started his promotions from this week aggressively."
Rahul Bose reacts, 'Utter nonsense. Just finished two days of intensive publicity with Vipul, Shefali, and Barnali. Getting ready for a six-city tour. So I would have to be a masochist if I was upset.
Kucch Love Jasia is a film in which I am happy with my work. It is a film that will stay with you long after you leave the theatre." The film releases this Friday and is directed by Barnali Ray Shukla.
