After a thumb injury, the actor has now hurt his knee badly on the sets of 'Double Dhamaal'

Jaaved Jaaferi was the most accident-prone actor on the sets of Double Dhamaal. First, he hurt his thumb and now he has severely injured the ligament in his left knee.

The injury is so bad that he will have to undergo an operation.

Says the actor, "We were shooting for the song Chill Maaro and I was supposed to do a somersault across a bed; the bed caved in, I landed in a very awkward position and the knee gave way.

The production unit immediately rushed me to a hospital. A day later, post my MRI scans, I was told that it was a bad ligament tear."

No operations

The actor says that though he is usually very accident-prone, he has managed to recover from the injuries without any operations.

"This time, the doctors strongly felt that a surgery was needed. So I am going to get it done on June 1. It is something I would have done way before, but I was tied up with the promotions of the film.

I have also missed my physiotherapy sessions. But, work comes first, doesn't it? These injuries come and go, " he explains.
