Security guards at Farhan Akhtar's live event didn't recognise mom Honey Irani and made her wait for a long time outside the venue

While director-singer Farhan Akhtar enjoyed the company of an only-girls audience at a Bandra amphitheatre, where he performed some select-numbers from Rock On on Friday, mom Honey Irani was left outside the gates, stranded!

Apparently, the security guards at the venue did not recognise the noted writer-director and only allowed the mother in after some scribes identified her.

FA came to know about her situation only after the performance ended.

He was giving a live show after about two and a half years and Irani wanted to be there to support him.

However, she did not argue at all with the guards who asked her to show the invitation, which she wasn't carrying. That's what we call self-respect, lady!
