Save time for 'UNS'

Save time for 'UNS'

A Bollywood film directed and produced by Bhupendra Gupta, was made using the state-of-the-art FrameForge format reportedly enhancing film quality and production value, while at the same time saving time and money, filmmakers here said.

The film "UNS", which stars the daughter of film legend Raj Babbar, Juhi Babbar and national award winner Rituparna Sengupta, would be released Friday.

Eight cameras were used for the shooting, making it possible for the director to explore as many combinations and permutations of angles, camera placements, set designing and shot designing without too many hassles, filmmakers said.

"For this software, script and dialogues have to be ready well in advance. This is the only way wherein a director can allow his imagination run wild and shoot and re-shoot his entire movie over and over again without additional financial burden," tells Gupta.

According to him, even Hollywood is just catching up with this concept, since the software was launched there six months ago.
