Though Big B has disassociated himself from IIFA, Abhi-Ash will perform at the award ceremony

In spite of Amitabh Bachchan having disassociated himself with IIFA, son Abhishek and bahu Aishwarya will be performing at the award ceremony.

Amitabh Bachchan has been the brand ambassador for the India International Film Awards since its conception.

But last year, there were some issues between the organisers Wizcraft and him, which led to his decision of not being a part of the award ceremony any longer.

There were rumours that the senior Bachchan was upset with the fact that his family was not invited two years in a row for the awards.

At that time he had tweeted, "We are not coming to IIFA... IIFA said our services are not required!! It's not me, it's the organizers of IIFA that do not want me in Toronto.

Sri Lanka was the same." So last year's IIFA awards in Sri Lanka was held without any of the Bachchans being a part of it.

But looks like on Wednesday morning, the younger Bachchans changed their mind. Aishwarya and Abhishek have agreed to give a joint performance at the IIFA ceremony to be held in Toronto.

A source close to the organisers informs, "Yes, Ash and Abhishek will be performing. They will most probably perform on a medley of their latest songs, and they will perform together throughout."

When asked if the senior Bachchan will also be attending the ceremony now, we were told that he still wouldn't be a part of it. "He is shooting, " we were told.

Well, looks like it won't be long before the senior Bachchan relents, too.
