With both India and Pakistan taking forward their peace talks it would seem but natural for a Pakistani cricket icon to invite a leading Indian film luminary to Pakistan in an effort to bring in more people to people contact.

However, in a strange case of its kind, former Pakistan cricket captain, Imran Khan has apparently been slammed for inviting Bollywood star Aamir Khan to Pakistan.

According to the Daily Times, Imran while addressing a seminar organised by the Punjab University was attacked by some members of the audience for challenging his 'Pakistaniat' and 'national honour' by inviting Aamir Khan from the 'enemy country' or India.

Not only did they ridicule Imran for inviting Aamir, but also openly demanded support for the cause of the 'Kashmir Mujahideen'.

Earlier Aamir had gone to Pakistan on Imran's request and helped raise rupees 65 million for opening a hospital in Karachi.
