Ishq Bector 'amused' at allegations of stealing song

Singer-composer Ishq Bector has slammed allegations that his latest song "Ishq da keeda" is a stolen piece.

Bector, who is credited with writing and composing the number for "Bheja Fry 2", has been blamed by lyricist Shabbir Abbas for copying the song.

"It's amusing that a con artist would falsely take claim over my song 'Ishq da keeda'. I will prove myself as a genuine music director by constantly churning out original hits for years to come... Some desperate people will do anything for fame or money.."

"This guy wants to be famous. But the only fame this guy will get is in the courtroom. So now our lawyers will make him a star in the court room by suing him for whatever he's worth (which is surely not much), " Bector said in a statement.

According to reports, Abbas sent a legal notice to "Bheja Fry 2" producers raising questions on the originality on the song.
