Writer-politician Shashi Tharoor made for an unusual, but charming presence at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), and with his dapper looks, he could well have been mistaken for an actor too!

Tharoor unexpectedly barged into the media centre while looking for someone, and received a string of hellos from Indian journalists.

"What are you doing here Mr.Tharoor?" he was asked.

He flashed a smile, and said: "I was here to speak at a business forum, and yes, I'll be around for IIFA as well."

Tharoor is being accompanied by his wife Sunanda Krishnan. Guess both of them need to catch up on some Bollywood masala to spice.
