Nagma has acted in a Bhojpuri film for the first time. The film "Ganga Jaisan Mai Hamaar" has been made by Kisan Khadriya and scripted and directed by Mohan G. Prasad, sometimes known as the Subhash Ghai of Bhojpuri cinema.

He had earlier made the popular "Saiyan Hamaar", reportedly doing business of Rs. 10 million.
