Anupam Kher has drawn comparisons between Indian actors and international veterans Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, saying Bollywood stars are far more talented than these big names of Hollywood.

"An Indian actor can do whatever Al Pacino or Robert De Niro does, but they cannot do what Indian actors do. They can't sing like us, they can't dance like us, " Anupam said here.

"Ask them to sing 'Chandni chandni' on top of a hill, and they will ask 'What's the motivation?' We don't do that..." he added.

The veteran actor, who was here for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards, says Indian actors go out of their way to do things sometimes they aren't convinced of.

"So many times we aren't convinced about certain scenes...but the beautiful thing is that when we do them, there are a million people who believe in it. And that's he magic of Indian cinema, " he said.
