He is known for making serious movies on socio-political issues, but filmmaker Prakash Jha doesn't rule out making a typical Bollywood potboiler.

"Why not? Why do people think I can't make a masala film? I can, and I might...but not at the moment, " Jha, who made a love story called "Dil Kya Kare" with Ajay Devgn and Kajol, told.

The National Award-winning filmmaker is currently busy gearing up for the release of his next film "Aarakshan", about caste-based reservations in the Indian education system.

After "Aarakshan", Jha has "two more subjects" in the pipeline. Alas, none are masala entertainers.
