Producer Sandiip Kapoor, who has made films like "Jugaad" and "Naughty@40" in the past, is on the hunt for actors from Pakistan
for his next film "Pranam Walekum".
Kapoor is heading to Pakistan Wednesday to look for actors for the project. He wants to give a realistic look to the film, which is
actor Sanjay Mishra's directorial debut.
"The movie is based on communal harmony so we just thought of taking in some Pakistani actors to make it look more real. But
the shooting will begin from July 14 in Bhor in Maharashtra, " Mishra said in a statement.
The title of the film is an amalgamation of 'pranam', an Indian greeting and 'walekum', a Pakistani welcome greeting - denoting
harmony between the two countries. However, the film will not take any serious stand on the tensions between the neighbouring
countries.
"It is an unusual story woven around a usual subject. The story will regale viewers with ironies and funny anecdotes of everyday life.
We are going to make people laugh, " said Kapoor.
