Suniel Shetty turns 50 on August 11. On Sunday night, the actor left for the US.
He wants to celebrate the birthday with his close family members based in America, and also with Athiya, his daughter who is studying in the US.
But just before he left, the actor had a special gesture to make. He called one of his ardent fans Suresh Sharma from Uttarakhand.
Sharma has been Shetty's Fan No 1 from his Balwaan days in 1992. Sharma has been urging Shetty to celebrate the special day in Uttarkhand.
"I was shocked when Sir called me. I was taken aback by this sweet gesture. I have been sending letters to him for the last 20 years, " says Sharma.
Sharma, along with other Suniel Shetty fans, will be celebrating his birthday at a farmhouse. "Apart cutting cake and other things, we will put up huge posters of him everywhere." Sharma says.
When Suniel came to know about this, he was touched. So he called Sharma to apologise to him that he will not be able to be a part of the celebrations in Uttarakhand, as he will be in US.
Shetty, who will be back in Mumbai by August 15 has promised Sharma that he will visit Uttarakhand soon.
