Singing legend Lata Mangeshkar was in the city recently and performed in a concert to mark the 150th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.

Mangeshkar along with her siblings, Asha Bhosle, charmed the audience with her magical voice as she sang one of the famous songs written by Tagore-'Tomar holo shuru'.

On Sunday the audience also witnessed the Mageshkar siblings namely Lata, Asha, Usha, Hridaynath and Meena standing on the same platform as cameras clicked to capture the memorable moment.

Lata Mangeshkar was honoured with a lifetime achievement award on Lifetime Achievement Award by a well known Bengali TV channel - 24 Ghanta- on Monday night.
