Puja Gupta who has the dud movie F.A.L.T.U to her credit, after winning the Miss India Universe crown in 2007, has turned out to be quite a tantrum thrower. After shooting for the film Alert 24x7 for almost a week in Goa, the newcomer ditched the project.

The team, which consists of Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Mohanlal, Anupam Kher and Kabir Bedi, apparently requested her to reconsider, but Gupta was adamant.

According to director Sojan Joseph, "Puja struggled in her scenes. But she left suddenly."

According to one of the film's principal actors, Gupta quit because she did not want to star against a newcomer like Ruslaan Mumtaz.
