Following the disastrous fate of Kis Kiski Kismat, all is not well between producer Vivek Nayak and director Govind Menon, while the former is cursing the day he asked Menon to direct Kis Kiski Kismat, Menon is peeved that the film was not promoted and publicized well enough.

Meanwhile, Nayak is going ahead. His next film will star Juhi Chawla, Sonali Kulkarni and Sameer Dharamadhikari. Newcomer Uday Devare, who has graduated as a cameraman from the Nayak camp itself, will hold the directorial reins.

Nayak plans to recreate RD Burman's unused compositions, which would be rendered by Asha Bhonsle and Gulzar will provide the lyrics for the same.
