It is great news that bade miya Amitabh Bachchan has landed a role in his first Hollywood film, Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.
What's more, he is doing the film for free. All for a dost. Big B posted on his blog, "He (Baz Luhrmann) called last month and wondered if I would do this small role in his film and I agreed.
It is a gesture. I have refused any remuneration on this too."
Big B's character, Meyer Wolfsheim, is a gambler who helps the Jay Gatsby get rich in F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel.
