Bhatt keen to rope in his mentor to play the US terror operative in his dream project Rahul is currently in the process of writing a book on his experiences with David Headley

The former fitness instructor's life changed forever in 2009, when he was befriended by the accused in the Mumbai 2008 attacks.

He, of course, maintained that he had no clue of Headley's true identity, a fact the authorities could not prove otherwise despite a thorough investigation.

Rahul now hopes to get Salman Khan who played his mentor on reality show Bigg Boss last year to play Headley in the film. He also plans to star, besides direct this film based on this book.

"The Headley film is my dream project. I want to script, direct and if possible play myself in it. It's a tall order. But I am in no hurry. It's a story that I need to tell," he says.
