The actress, the director Subh and co actor Harsh all came onto the ramp dressed in clothes from the Provogue Autumn Winter collection as the finale for the 2nd day of the Kolkata Couture and Lifestyle Fashion Week (KCLFW) and after the show a trailer of the movie was shown to the audience.
"I am very excited about Shakal Pe Mat Ja. It is a comedy film about mistaken identities and I hope it will be a success, " Hrishita said.
The 2nd day of the KCLFW commenced with upcoming designer Himanshu Mittal showcasing a collection of sarees embroidered with jewellery.
"As you can see from the generous use of jewellery in the par and the other areas, my collection has been inspired by the Kundan Jewellery, " Mittal said.
The designer duo of Gaurav and Ritika strived to exhibit the "dichotomy in harmony" through a collection made from luxurious Italian suiting fabrics non-conforming silhouettes, traditional knitted wool frills and handmade crochets that was inspired by ceramic artist Ursula Morley Price's work along with the work of several others.
"The idea was inspired from various textures and architectures we see around us, " Gaurav said.
"We added a dash of red to ash, metallic greys and sky ash to shock and besides there is a secret romanticism to it, " Ritika said.
City based designer Radhika Singhi revealed her new collection called "Vintage Veil" that attempts to combine French styles along with other western sensibilities with the Indian couture.
The show was started by model Sheena Chauhan dressed in a French laced gown and ended with Tollywood actress Locket Chatterjee walking onto the ramp as the showstopper.
"My collection is about the inner beauty of women and I have used velvets and French chiffon among several other materials, " Singhi remarked.
Designer Babita Malkani displayed a collection called Metalmorphosis that came alive with actual metallic scraps attached to the accessories and the outfits that were baked in order to create an effect called rusting.
The show came to a halt with showstopper Rimjhim Mitra walking on to the ramp in a low cut gown with a large necklace fashioned from metal rejects.
"I have used metallic scraps like nails, bolts used for accessory and clothes with grounded and rusted prints, " Malkani remarked.
Sohini Pal and Parizad Chakraborty walked onto the ramp as showstoppers in sizzling outfits from designer Arjun Aggarwal who displayed a line up of evening cocktail wear with red, black and hues of ash and golden faded yellow.
"I have used a specially made fabric from three different fabrics which is the main highlight of this collection, " Aggarwal said.
