Although many films have been made on the life of saint Sathya Sai Baba, most of them were documentaries and some have been highly controversial. But now a full-fledged Bollywood style film on him is being planned.

The announcement was made by director Rajeev Khandelwal at a function graced by Sunil Gavaskar and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. Though not much was revealed about the film, Khandelwal said it would have newcomers and involve the holy man's devotees.

"The movie will be made on an international scale and the music will be given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Proper details will be revealed once the script and the actors are finalised," tells Alok Mathur, the publicist of the film.
